Antoinette, Mandarin Gallery Singapore

3 Oct

We read about Antoinette a while back and didn’t have the chance to visit till recently. Helmed by Chef Pang, the former pâtissier of Canele. This little cafe is well-suited for those who enjoy cakes, bread, tea or coffee. Located conveniently on the 2nd floor of Mandarin Gallery (within Meritus Mandarin Hotel), you can have a peek of France right in the middle of Orchard Road.

You’ll be spoilt for dessert choices and they do serve a good spread of breakfast menu.

For those eager to try, please be mindful that the wait can be quite long since the place is very small and people tend to take a long time with their meals. And especially so with big cosy chairs like these.

D had the banana french toast and he loved it!

While I had the blueberry pancakes which I thought were rather perfect.

Antoinette is worth a visit but I would advise you to go early on weekends, if not to avoid the queue, try weekdays since no reservation is allowed. A good gals’ day out venue to yak and gossip over a cup of tea and scones.  <5pf>
