The beach, a forgotten place?

24 Aug

With the indoor playground, electronic games, iPads and other easy and comfortable options for parents these days, I think the beach is a forgotten place. Isn’t it nice to have your child be close to nature? You don’t even need to spend a cent going there actually. All we needed was the sandcastle tools which cost us  S$2.

We had long wanted to bring E to the beach but never got to do it till today. He was initially afraid of the waters but thanks to his daddy,  he overcame it.  We could tell he truly enjoyed himself.

It was a wonderful evening spent at the East Coast beach. We may not have sand as fine as those in Mauritius and the waters may not be as clean, but this is nature after all. What’s better than letting your child grow up appreciating nature? <5pf>
